Seasoned Shami Bulgur NZ Grass-Fed Lamb Kofta-500gm

Ingredients: Salt, Black Pepper, Onion, Garlic, Parsley, Meat masala, and Bulgur wheat (cracked wheat berries that are partially pre-cooked).

Bulgur Kofta Salad Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 500g Seasoned Shami Bulgur Kofta
  • 1 cup cooked bulgur wheat
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Place the seasoned Shami Bulgur Kofta on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake the kofta in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly browned.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked bulgur wheat, diced cucumber, diced tomato, chopped parsley, chopped mint, and crumbled feta cheese (if using).
  5. Drizzle the salad with lemon juice and olive oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss everything together until well combined.
  6. Once the kofta is cooked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  7. To serve, divide the bulgur salad among serving bowls and top with the baked Shami Bulgur Kofta.
  8. Garnish with additional fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately.
