Seasoned Lebanese NZ Grass-Fed Lamb Kibbeh Nayyeh - 500gm

Kibbeh Nayeh is a traditional delicacy made from finely ground raw meat, typically enjoyed with fresh bread and vegetables. The tender texture and rich flavour make it a favourite among those who appreciate authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.

Kibbeh Nayyeh Style Dip

Ingredients:

  • 500g Seasoned Lebanese Kibbeh Nayyeh
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 tablespoon pine nuts, toasted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pita bread or crackers for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Seasoned Lebanese Kibbeh Nayyeh with finely diced onion, chopped mint, chopped parsley, and toasted pine nuts.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the mixture and squeeze lemon juice on top.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Gently mix all the ingredients until well combined.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary.
  6. Serve the Kibbeh Nayyeh dip in a bowl alongside pita bread or crackers.

Note: This recipe mimics the flavors of traditional Kibbeh Nayyeh but omits the raw meat for safety reasons. It's a safer alternative that still captures the essence of the dish.
